oh crap more bad news, when O gpt put at Bragg in 2003, I became a spouce and my records were restarted and at the same clinic and I got a spousal ID card, didn;t you become a spouce and get new records at another clinic and still medical care at Bragg??? You should still have medical records then…well anyways, before I got out, I made copies at staples of my medical records and so did my husband, I then filed my claim and was denied and filed another claim, denied again, you can submit civilian records of any ongoing problems, go to VA and get treatment there or go to VA and ask the person to whom you file a calim thru about what you can do for your records, ya know VA on ramis street. Maybe even if you Got x-rays you can go to womak and see if you can get a copy of what the doctor said in his report, see how far back they go…I had to get three reports for my son to go into the airforce. Other then asking your VA rep. for help thats all i know for now.

Look online for a SF-180 form from the Veterans administration. Fill it out and send it to where your branch of the service and wait. You can get a copy SRB and you medical records.

Hey Buddy, Im a former Marine SSGT. I got out in 07, I had some side effects from the anthrax shots they gave us, as well as brain trauma. The only thing i can tell you to relieve some stress, plus the holidays are coming, and every combat veteran knows these months are tough on us. #1 try to find out what the phone number is to the Mob Com. they are in Kansas City and they keep all records of military personal that have been discharged, including medical records. #2 Get a attorney that can do some snooping around for you. I recommend a man named Brian Jones out of Louisiana. He only takes 2% of what he wins for you. On top of that he can get some doctors that can see you specifically for your areas you have surgery on. If you need some help brother just respond to my answer and we will get this ball rolling. Im always trying to help. and I have a community of Marines that will back me if we need some more power to push the paper. Make a copy of your medical records when you find them and then you have proof of your issues. The military will abandon you once you are out. Bitter sweet, but thats how we get treated. you need to contact the Central Army Records Office and request in writing a signed letter stating that you would like to request copies of all documentation – you can goodle it on your computer for their numbers cause i am not sure i am allowed to post phone numbers here. good luck

I don’t know about the US but in Australia all medical records have a copy held in a Central Records storage facility.

You need to find out where that is for you – I would think that there woul dbe a similar requirement there.

I would sent a request by letter to the clinic where you last saw your docs and leave it up to them to find. Freedom of information dictates that you have a right to your own records.

You can always contact your last command or the National Archives.

They belong to you, you have every right to track them down, and that includes your medical record. (They’re supposed to be given to you when you seperate.)
