DUNSTAN

In any security clearance investigation package you sign three release of information forms. One is for criminal history and records to be used when inquiring with law enforcement agencies. The second is for banks, credit card companies and other lending institutions for credit history and financial records. The third is for hospitals, physicians, medical insurance companies to release any medical or psychiatric history or records. You really need to look at this and check into if it can be waved as it might be waveable by them or another service. If you do otherwise it could really jeopardize any chance at all of having any career in the military.

Giving false info is bad for integrity's sake but also for your own health issue. If you do not disclose the information it could lead to a bad situation down the line if you need urgent medical care.

DIAMOND

If you have a medical condition that you don't tell them about and your military duty aggravates that condition, you could receive an Other than Honorable or medical discharge and lose some or all of your benefits from the VA. Now, if you DO list it, and your service does aggravates it, you may be able to receive compensation for it. Underline MAY, as in possible but not for sure.

Yes! If you don't disclose it and the military finds out that you have a previous medical problem.
The Military can get your civilian medical records!
YOU will get kicked out on fraudulent enlistment!

Yes, I strongly suggest you disclose that stuff. Even if your recruiter tells you to lie about it or cover it up.
