Will the military pull my dmv record and credit report to get my address?
Mona B asked:
(soon to be ex) husband went UA from the marines. I was told the military will track me down looking for him by pulling my credit report and dmv record to get my new address to question me.

DMV maybe but credit IDK they will do what they can to find him….
DUARD
Yep, they will go after your ex big time since this nation is still in a state of war.

Big Brother has a dozen ways to find someone. SSAN, job, bank accounts, ATM usage, cell phone usage, DMV and on and on……….If he stays away then you don’t know anything right?
DUNNE
Why would they do that when they can track the IP address used to post your question? If they wanted to, they would have already have been to your place…
Seriously though, unless he’s committed a crime, I don’t think the military actively looks for AWOL troops. The military doesn’t have the resources to track every wayward GI. Instead their name is posted in the national crime db and they usually get rolled up next time they’re pulled over for speeding…
BARRETT
Doubtful. The Military no longer actively tracks down Military Members who either go AWOL or Desert. They simply put out a warrant for that individual and then wait for that individual to get stopped by a Police Officer. They even pay that Officer a finders fee (At least they used to $50.00-75.00) You have nothing to worry about Big Brother coming to you to find your soon to be ex.
CLINTON
Not really, they just wait until they get a minor traffic ticket and get them that way.
